Have had more success compared to the much more expensive products that my doctor wanted me to take. I am very happy with the results.

“There are no shortbuts to any place worth going”. – Beverly Sills
Short cuts. What does that phrase bring to mind?
“Being lost”, is the first thing I think of. Everytime I hear the driver say, “Let’s just take a little short cut”….right here. Invariably, that short cut turns into a long rambling ride through the countryside until the driver finds a sign to point him back onto the main highway and the original course. If anyone drives and drives and then all of a sudden says, “I was taking a short cut”, I wonder how much longer we would have driven if they hadn’t found their way back by accident!
Then, I think of “work arounds” or ways we try to short cut the right way to do something. Invariably that never ends with the same quality of outcome or good results.
Short Cuts was a film. No, I didn’t see it…but the film traces the actions of 22 principal characters, both in parallel and at occasional loose points of connection. The role of chance and luck is central to the film, and many of the stories concern death and infidelity. Isn’t that the negative feeling I have- “taking a chance and risking death”??
“Short cuts” is defined as:
1. A more direct route than the customary one- a shorter or quicker way to get somewhere.
2. A means of saving time or effort- a method, policy, etc., that reduces the time or energy needed to accomplish something.
Keyboard shortcuts generally expedite common operations by reducing input sequences to a few keystrokes, hence the term “shortcut”. In most real-world environments, both philosophies co-exist; a core set of sacred shortcuts remain fixed while others, typically involving an otherwise unused modifier key or keys, are under the user’s control. I couldn’t have said it better! Short cuts could be useful or not, based on the user’s needs and how effective they are. Short cuts might have a good connotation or bad connotation based on the results.
If a person is developing a talent like voice, or a musical instrument, perhaps there are no short cuts to the place of highest good! If a person is playing World of Warcraft, maybe, the short cut lets them excel at something like their finger speed that may not be the real measure of their abilities.
Perhaps, we should use short cuts judiciously. I tend to agree with the original position- There aren’t any ways to shorten the experiences or reach our highest potential. We have to do all the work, to get there. It’s like our Algebra teacher said,
“No short cuts, I want to see ALL your work!!” We may need to look back to see where we were, to realize “we made it to a place worth going!!”
